Who We Are

Kimberlee Vargas, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twelve years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families.  She has worked full-time as a School Social Worker in both Connecticut and New York, as well as a practicing psychotherapist in outpatient mental health.  She has specialized training in the treatment of early childhood trauma, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for the treatment of depression, Aggression Replacement Training, and the PAX Good Behavior Game, among other modalities. 

She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland and a BA in Psychology and Health & Human Service from the University at Buffalo.  Kimberlee is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys healthy cooking, gardening and motherhood.

Elizabeth Wood, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker with seven years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY Oneonta.  Elizabeth’s experience includes working with children and families as a certified School Social Worker in the Syracuse City School District, as well as providing clinical therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in private practice. 

Elizabeth is trained in a wide range of therapeutic interventions and theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Aggression Replacement Training.   Elizabeth utilizes a strengths-based, collaborative approach in therapy, and believes in assisting individuals to utilize their innate skill set to increase personal fulfillment.  In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, personal fitness, and spending time with her family and friends.
